I dont know what is causing all these problems for you. I'm gonna make a wild guess and say you need...........notepad 2 with directx 11....

i has notepad revolution Xtreme version 3.65 and DirectY12 (directY is so much better than directx)

Maybe my system is just too pro for modern day technology?
