Affording 3 cards is hard enough >.> I don't think there are any programs that require 6 cores to run on max.

they have a chart online somewhere that shows which cards can sli and darc think about it im getting 850 watts for 120 usd......and if im not mistaking your money is worth more so 70 for you is probably somewhere around 110 usd and your only getting 600 watts so i got a bit of a better bargain

i must say though im really psyched because im finally gonna be able to max out age of conan and maybe crysis

Do graphic cards support all computers, if they have the slot? As mine is pretty old and I'm looking forward to buying a graphic card, only have 64MB right now. -.-

well yea all pc's support video cards but you have to make sure your pc supports the one your getting.....if your pc is that old it probably doesnt have a pci express slot you'll need to get an agp vid card possibly

Your 8800GT will only sli with another 8800GT. As for the price on that card, wow. I bought one a long time ago for $270 and I thought I got it for a deal. When I played Crysis with that card I had it on High, but I later downloaded a good config(google xConfig) and it allowed me to push it even further. But your processor is going to choke it at lower resolutions, you should really invest in a dual/quad core cpu.

You'll still get bad frame-rate. Nvidia had a display and uploaded the video of the Crysis test on youtube. The display was on a computer with tri-SLI as well as a Q6600 and they didn't even get amazing frame-rate. Anyone can run it on max settings, it's the frame-rate that matters.

Your CPU isn't that great either.

on very high settings you can play it smoothly maybe even with some AA on it
even with 1680x1050 resolution

but once you go to ultra high settings your computer will go BOOM......( I tweaked my BFG 8800GT OC to make it many times stronger and it still bows down to the ultra high settings....on those settings it slows down a bit)

but i knew someone that was doing sli with 2 8800's 2 gigs of ram and i 4got which processor but it was duo core it wasnt that high end though and he played it very smoothly on everything maxed out....there was 1 part where he did lag though other than that it ran perfectly though
