Looking for something with Skill

Hey, I'm looking for something possibly room-based, taking suggestions on other type games though, anything with skill.

I don't want this to be a thread about a general assumption of what you think is a skillful game. So I'll give you a few examples.

KartRider takes a lot of skill, if you're good you'll advance very far quickly. I don't want anything which is just a mashup of people doing the same things and having no specific way to distinguish from eachother skillwise. Another example could be a tennis type game, or a fighting game. I know that ijji had that 1v1 fighting game which I really enjoyed, and it took skill to win. Tennis games are another example because you have to be good to outsmart your opponent.

Things I don't want to hear:
Gunbound
RumbleFighter
anything like this.

I'm not looking for ANY specific genre, just a game with a challenge, not just an endless bore of doing the same things over and over mindlessly and being able to climb the ladder that way.

No, Rakion ISN'T a good one. Clearly you don't get what I'm trying to say.

Rakion is just an endless bore of doing the same thing, everyone hitting eachother trying to get the most points, but takes NO SKILL.

OMAN COUNTER STRIKE, WUTS THAT?!!!!!

I'm not looking for something I do endlessly all day with no benefit. I want a game with rankings/levels/etc.

I've played FPSs nonstop for years. I've gone far in them, I've done a lot. That just isn't what I'm looking for. I don't want to have to do it over and over and then have nothing at the end of the day.

Btw CS is probably the least-skilled eSport there is.

it takes amazing clue and aim to take out cal i championships and win competitions
you want a skilled mmorpg
theres no such thing shut the fuck up, you either play your fuckin css zombie mod or you play 1.6 where it takes skill
bf2 and shit they all are graphic pieces of shit
nothing takes more skill than 1.6

actually fro the most part CS is just a bunch of hackers and cheaters. Their hack detectors really suck.
