I loved GTA IV.
Maybe that's cause I haven't played ANY good games before...

But I really liked the story.

Also, I like Halo 3's multiplayer, but it sorta gets boring if you're not playing with a bunch of friends.

Happened to me.

To keep it from happening, just turn off your Xbox when you're done, so that means don't leave it on over night, don't put it in a shelf, but rather keep it in the open.

These tips will prevent the 360 from getting overheated which is the main reason 360s get the red rings of death. The hardware will literally melt if you overheat it.

I also suggest putting an external fan over it if you've been playing for a while.

Oblivion on PC is way better than the console versions. But seeing how most of the titles you listed are available on PC... Meh. I'd get the stuff that isn't out on PC, like Ninja Gaiden 2.

I did that with my Xbox and PS2. Really just common sense with any console not to leave it on overnight. I'm not worried about it overheating. Now a real issue: horizontal or vertical? I'm thinking horizontal.

i used to leave my first gen ps2 on for months at a time

still works like new today

I hate turn based games but lost odyssey was actually good. The beginning scene is epic.

My mom said she would buy me a cheap $20-$30 game and let me work it off. I've limited it down to 3 main choice, but it's going to come down to what the store has in stock. Saint's Row, Condemned, or Dead Rising. They all look great to me.
