That's why I didn't like him. I hate when a wimp becomes a super bass character. That's so generic. I prefer charismatic,funny and serious when needed characters like Kamina. And no, he wasn't an imbecile.

Yea I don't get it either, I mean a good majority of the comedy in the series came from him. Just a really great character I thought.

I think he meant that Naruto and Bleach fans need to watch an anime that's BETTER, as in Gurren Lagann, rather than watch... well I'm not gonna insult those two shows, I like them.

The one thing I couldn't stand too much were the mecha designs of the non-combined mechs, or Ganmen, or whatever you prefer. They were just big faces with stubby arms and legs. The taller ones with "two faces" looked cooler.

And I always thought Kamina was a character that was liked by all fans of the show. He is the embodiment of everything the show stands for (you could count Simon too but Kamina taught everything to him).

Also, first episode of Gurren Lagann comes out in English tonight on Sci-Fi channel! I just gotta see if the voices match.
