Hey guys, I know it isn't a mmorpg but this section tends to get the most traffic so that's why I decided to put it here. Would be really cool if this ironed out and actually got a group together.

I am wanting to form a full 6 person party to play through both Baldur's Gate I and Baldur's Gate II online. If anybody is interested post here or pm me. If we get a full party we will iron out all the details that need to be. Till then...

EDIT: Okay guys, since we have a full party, everybody should post the times at which they are able to play. This was we can set up times so that the whole party can play together and nobody gets left behind. For me, just about anytime is good for me, I don't have much, if anything, to do over the summer. Also, you will need to download Hamachi in order to play online. https://secure.logmein.com/products/...pn.asp?lang=en Its a really fast download though so shouldn't take more than 1-2 minutes.

EDIT: Everybody needs to download and install hamachi and get onto the network ASAP.

EDIT: When you have Baldur's Gate 1 and totsc installed, you need to go here http://www.bioware.com/games/tales_s...pport/patches/ and download the internation patches. (plain one and directx 8, doesnt matter if you have dx 9 or 10, you still have to download the dx8 patch)

I'd really like too, the ps2 version was so fun.

The PC version is alot different from the action rpg's on the PS2, its alot like D&D, much slower paced. Really fun though. I'd play if I still had my cd's

You can torrent it (its legal if you owned the game at one point). If both of yall wanna join, we just might have 6 already. Somebody else pm'ed me asking about the game so yea. Respond back asap if yall are gonna play.

EDIT: I actually think that it is legal no matter what since they don't distribute the game anymore in stores. *shrug*

Nope, no cd required. This was a time before cd keys. If you plan on playing make sure you get the expansion packs (Tales of the sword coast and Throne of Bhaal). No reason not to since you can torrent it.

yea im gonna look for it now lol....but i wont be able to play today since its 2 am and im gonna go sleep soon but ill leave it downloading and if its done by 2morow ill play but during early noon since i work 2morow night....and the day after that im gonna be m.i.a for a bit since my new vid card is coming so im gonna spend a few days testing that out lol

Well we are going to wait for a full party (6 people, might already have that, just gotta get a full more confirmations) so we will start playing then. We will have to set up when we are going to play though and all that jazz. I'll see if werewolf will host it since I think he knows how to best. Hehe.

Well, we got a tank, healer (2 maybe, depends on if pubbles really multiclasses to cleric or sticks as bard), caster, rogue. So pretty much whatever you want now hehe. You are our 6th person so yay. I honestly didn't think we would manage a whole party.
