Default Tales Of Hearts (DS) and Tales Of The World: Radiant Mythology 2 (PSP) announced!
2008 seems to be a big year for Tales, with Tales Of Vesperia hitting shelves in August, and Tales Of Symphonia: Dawn Of The New World in November. And now, Tales Of Hearts for the DS and Tales Of The World: Radiant Mythology 2 for PSP have been announced.

Not many details have been released involving Tales Of Hearts, except for the names of the main hero and heroine, and the name of its battle system, the Combination Aerial Linear Motion Battle System. DEEN is confirmed to be performing the game's opening theme, and the game is probably being developed by Team Destiny. Also, players will be able to choose between CGI cutscenes or the classic Tales Anime cutscenes. And Mitsuke Inomata is confirmed to be doing the character artwork.

All of the chararacters featured in Tales Of The World: Radiant Mythology will be returning in the sequel, and Nanaly will be playable this time around. Also, some new characters will be appearing. These new characters include....

Cless Alvein (Tales Of Phantasia)
Veigue Lungberg (Tales Of Rebirth)
Guy Cecil (Tales Of The Abyss)
Spada Belforma (Tales Of Innocence)
Chat (Tales Of Eternia)
Yuri Lowelle (Tales Of Vesperia)
Caius Qualls (Tales Of The Tempest)
Presea Combatir (Tales Of Symphonia)

In total, there's supposed to be around 50 Tales characters. So roughly 3/4 of the entire series' cast.

Tales Of Hearts is slated for a Winter 2008 release in Japan. No news regarding a US/PAL release for either titles. Some are speculating Tales Of Hearts will be announced in the next issue of Nintendo Power, though.

I'm really excited about Radiant Mythology 2. It seems to be a huge improvement over the first Radiant Mythology.

Very excited about TotW2. The first was amazing IMO, other than the repetitive missions/dungeons. :/

Also, Spada and Presea FTW.

Well actually, this is the 4th Tales Of The World game. The first 2 were on the GBA and never released outside of Japan.
