I use an 8600 GT which i bought about a year ago, and Crysis works fine on medium settings. It also runs smoothly if i put older games like 2142 running on near highest settings. But as of right now, the 8800's are the ones to consider..unless you're really low on funds or something. (the 8600 is now cheeaapppp o.o)

It may be better to buy a 9400

. But a 8600 is not that outdated though.

unless you are playing at 200000000x2000000000 resolutions I don't see how a Geforce 8600 512mb can't run crysis at least on medium settings and other games pretty well with that laptop's spec

A lot of people review and compare it to the 8600 GT so I find it relevant.
