i think hes talking about the background gray behind the text boxes. dunno how to fix that

If that is the case then..

right click your desktop
properties
desktop tab
in the lower right of this tab there is a 'color' box, this will change the background color of your icon text

Edit : It work for me but than it doesn't work for my friend, my friend told me something about Active Desktop that causes his error.
