Edit: For those who don't know, a patent is a set of exclusive rights to an idea that you get approved by the government. Inventors get a patent when they have a "breakthrough idea", so no one else can steal it and take the credit for it.

Does he really think he's the only person who ever thought of this? Touch screens have been around since the early 80's. I'm sure others have thought of this same idea. Also does he have proof Nintendo stole his idea on purpose? Maybe they did or maybe it's just a strange fluke that the two happen to alike. Also why did it take him so long to sue?

The DS has been out for years and he's just now going after Nintendo? After they made all this money? Why not go after them from the start and try to stop them from making any money off the product at all as soon as it came out. He's had the patent years before the DS came out. In this case he has more proof than most I just wonder why he waited so long.

Now that I look at it, the correlation between above image and a DS is startling. Seriously Nintendo, you guys are ridiculous when it comes to ripping off a man's cold hard patent. I bet the transsexual in that picture is VERY angry.

Got a question bout pantenting... If you filed to patent any of your works, and it took longer before it gets approved, does that mean that you have to wait for the time it will be patented before you could actually say its your idea? And what if someone came up and patented the (similar or almost similar) idea, who will win?

I hope they counter sue him and he loses his ass to em. Nintendo is one of the last gaming companies I'd want to try and mess up. He'll probably go after sony next saying he made bluray.

There should be a statue of limitations.

And...Nintendo is a huge corporation. Its sad that they will be losing money...but shit...its chump change to them, whatever he wants.

(Don't start in about that...I know they aren't evil on a level with Disney, Viacom, etc etc, but still, they are a HUGE corporation)
