True, because hosting a mmorpg can be so damn expensive...
And logically, the less addicted players there are, the more prices go up.

My point is : Because you can have it for free doesn't mean you have the right to judge if other people should pay for it or not.
Pservers don't have bots because botters don't see the point in selling adenas to the very limited number of players on each Pserver...

Ironically in L2's case and plenty of other games cases some private servers are working just as well if not better than retail with more attractive rates/features

And I pity you if you truly judge a person for the race he chooses on a game.

WRONG ive played private servers instead of retail and believe me id play retail if the lower levels wherent so empty.

But newayz a private server needs money right? how do they get it? Donations.

Donation users on all private servers no matter what game it is are overpowered. Worst ive seen is lineage where u can get +162563531 of any item and all the raid boss jewels if u throw some money at them. End game it ends up being no fun unless you donate yourself.

Now..find me a pserver with more than 1k users that has no overpowered donations.. retail is always in front of private servers.... the only thing i agree with u is the rates.

I'd bet my money you've been playing L2j private servers, even more money that you don't know the difference in stability between L2j and L2off p.servers.

And I do know several servers over the 1k mark with no op'd donations, in fact low rates servers with very limited donation options are way more popular then high rates PvP servers(unless they're factions style)

So don't tell me I'm wrong when I've been playing L2 private servers since c2 came.

I'm on a L2j one right now and it seems to be fine. I know a while back they used to crash every 30 minutes with 100 people. It seems to be catching up nicely. :P

Good thing too since they promote it to be the 'legal' emulator.

Let me add that the server i'm on has NO DONATIONS AT ALL. It is sponsored by other means. So, no, not all servers are donation based.

meh i guess ive just had crap experiences....

and im quite sure a few were not using l2j since they always use that as a means of attracting more people but meh ill stop spamming ill post some screenies of RGTR later
