This month's drawing contest on a forum I frequent is on the topic Steampunk.

I decided to draw one of my favorite metal bands in anime chibi form and then make them into some type of steam punk style.

I made a quick sketch of chibi forms of each member of the band just to get an idea of what I was looking for in appearance.

Then I decided to draw each member on one page. I just started with Syu the guitarist. Remember this slightly chibi form leaves out alot of anatomical detail. After I finished sketching all the members I will use SAI and Photoshop to add more detail, coloring and then clean the work up. Then add all the members together onto one canvas and add a background.

i totally agree with you exept the part where you say his holding it with one hand. his clearly having a band around his neck like all electic guitars have :S
