Here is the real guitar without the steam punk modifications.

@IT: I know that, but you should straighten them a little bit and redraw them (horizontal. It looks way too vertical atm)

@Salis;

Mabinogi⪪

~ Mabinogi; Better company, better combat, better life skills, good content
~ SMT/imagine; Better graphics, huge amount of pets (demons), better battle skills.

On the guitar picture he's holding it more to the center of gravity and the guitar has different proportions while on your drawing he's holding it much more towards the end of it and the messed up proportions make it look really heavy so you have to either attach the belt or redraw the guitar/hand position.

The belt isn't attached to the guitar if you pay attention.

The shoes are ok, don't listen to MageMoa. Maybe a bit weird but the perspective is believable. Because they're so vertical is only suggests that the viewer is quite close to the model.

Umm I switch the perspective around

you were getting confused with parts.

Thanks for the weight thing. I was originally going to draw him struming away. I will move his hand down and move the strap so it is holding up the guitar.

edit: oh and I fixed it and rescanned the drawing

No, wrong, you see. If you pick one perspective, you have to stick to it, the shoes suggest front (face) to down (shoes) perspective, meaning the viewer is fairly close to the model. If you wanna stick to it, you will see the top edges of the guitar, becuase now the model is in front to down perspective while the guitar looks like it was viewed from the left side (our left). Perspective suggests the position of objects so if I take the model (front down) perspective as main that means the guitar is rotated towards the camera which is false becuase the way he holds it suggests that he holds it parallel to his body.

EDIT: Better but the perspective is still messed up, and the guitar body should be closer to his own center of gravity, it's too far which makes it look like he's trying to push it away from him. Like he was scared of touching it.

Use lots or references and don't be afraid to make over because in the end, only those who give their best will matter.

Yeah, the perspective is out of whack, the strap does not connect to anything, etc.

I fixed the image and you know that the guitar can be tilted in order to see the side and not the top or bottom.

See last post for the image.

Yeah but as I already said, the way he holds it suggests parallel position towards his body, not tilted.
