It makes no difference to me if you care or agree with my opinions.

However, from what I've noticed lots of people consider the combat in WAR to appear slow to them and considering the popularity (and comparisons) of games like WoW, Lineage 2, Diablo 2, Guild Wars, and 10 million KR grinders it is quite slow. That in no way means the combat is bad as that is all about personal preference. Anyone who ever played WAR with me in beta or retail knows I dislike the combat of WAR because it doesn't flow well. I actually prefer the slower and more strategic pace of DAoC over the more twitch-inspired or hybrid systems.

The newer versions (2008+) are nice with some very good toolsets. The older ones that I was using back in college (Release 10/11) just made you smash keyboards out of frustration. It did make learning 3D Max and Maya much easier though which was a good thing.
