Side note, I don't even bother trying to melee Hyper Gundams. They don't flinch, and will usually just turn around and 6 hit you. >_<

There's a lot of stuff that you need to watch out in endgame boss encounters and that's why you're supposed to see something under the ui.

That's pretty much how my ui looks like during a raid. Ignore the other set of raid frames in the upper left corner, they were meant to be turned off. Ofc I'm playing on a higher resolution so I can fit more stuff in my screen but everything scaled lower. You should keybind all the abilities you might need during a combat so that you don't have to have HUGE action bars for clicking skills.

Bindings >>>>>>>> clicking

What would you recommend? My dad tried giving me a flatscreen, but it had too much ghosting, is this normal or was it just that the monitor was crappy?

monitor was probably just crappy. Get a LCD Wide screen, they are teh ownage.
