Oh dear....sorry but if you were even the LEAST bit smart you would see that its your computer making it look shit not the game. You dont even have to look that far im sure Thas has a screenshot on one of the near by pages and his screenshots alone make the game look nothing short of beautiful. Your doing the free trial so i doubt its the fact that you do not have the high res client so i wont even say anything about that since the free trial gives you the option to download the high res client. If you didnt pick that choice then please read my first comment again.

Graphic whores are pissing me off

LOTRO looks amazing considering it's been a few years it came out. However it's graphics are starting to get outdated and I hate how the characters are presented in it. They feel so lifeless.. like statues.

AoC looks awesome environment wise but the characters are a bit weird. However they feel more alive than in LOTRO.

I have tried LOTRO many times but I just couldn't find the spark in it. The lore is great and the idea of getting to travel in Middle Earth is great but imo it's just missing something. The graphics aren't enough to get me playing it.

Then again AoCs graphics keep pulling me in everytime I see one of these high setting pics on the forum. I'm updating the god damn game right now.. If the patcher just wouldn't crash every few minutes it would be faster to update it.

TLDR version: Graphics wise AoC>LOTRO

Your initial post was made to make a point was it not?

No one would pause half way through the first instance just to make a post about how the graphics didnt look that good.

I dont need an excuse im just pointing out the obvious compare your f'ed up textures to that of Thas and i rest my case.

I was done playing around with Lotro for a little bit, I took those SS's when I was playing? My post was saying I don't get why people are in love with the graphics. IF I had known I had the wrong client then I would have probably said different.
