and most people now days, expect "pretty graphics" to come with the "pretty game combat" package. So really i think they should had just continue with NWN3 or BG3 instead of spawning a new game series.
and about the thousands of people waiting for a game....it's like that for anygame that they hype for years before releasing(but those games are big project games) etc. etc.

There is still plenty of new RPGs that are not point and click.

ps. that was just a my 2cent version of a short review, don't go bit*hing about how i should try the game first before making a review on it, well i ain't gonna bother dl/torrent something like that while there is still many games-to-get on my list (this is just coming from someone who also played alot of new and old RPGs and didn't mind if it's point n click or just WASD, or no combat at all...).

also u talked about somethings like the ai and pause option , they are pretty fine

Drakensang apparently has ties to Dungeons and dragons, i think it started as a campaign then went on to it's own system, but i'll have to look into it more.
