That's a bug where everytime you log off, your XP is cleared. When you log off, and log back in, and kill a monster, you get XP totalling the cleared XP. It's weird, I know.

Well this was not the first mob I killed after logging in sooo...

Too bad it does not actually re-give you that exp.
