Alyssa nodded, and began moving around the tent. She tried to avoid meeting the gazes of the injured all around her. This place made her feel claustrophobic. If she closed her eyes, she knew that she would see the dark room with the faded cloth curtains and bare dirty walls, where a part of her life died.
It felt good to have something to do, to keep her focused, to keep her alive. She dumped the pile of assorted weapons (a few daggers, one of them notched, ten swords, and two crossbows with twenty bolts apiece.) near the rest of the Hedge Knights, and began sorting through them for anything to add to her own weaponry.
