I'm thinking you meant what genre is our favorite anime. Anyways mine's Hajime no Ippo. It's right up there with Black Lagoon.

Monster
Master Keaton
GTO
20th century boys ( it's only in manga but i enjoyed it)
vampire hunter d
Gankutsuou
black lagoon
school rumble
Planetes (i liked the manga more)
Berserk
Detective Conan
Maison Ikkoku

and many more I can't think of.....

yuck....I hate when I see people list Naruto, bleach or one piece as their favorites......or any other with the same rehashed style like soul eater......

those anime are horrible.....

the plot seemed to have been done by a fifth grader who had some super hero worship.....all it is...is fight one guy get stronger, fight another guy get stronger......

the characters are cliched.....the plot is easy to guess with very bad organization.....and the anime well...it's just made for kids who aren't intelligent enough to enjoy a great anime like " Monster" which actually takes time to think....

it's sad to see these anime on the top.....makes you understand how dull and brainless the mass majority of anime fans are.....if you can even call them that......

note: if you want to see some well done anime watch one of the series I listed above...I listed some from each genre...
