Yeah, since i'm rather utterly bored, i do need some way to get some internet games from the US to download faster

in other words... proxy.

and yeah, i do still want to play maple story in china, but not CMS.

*cough* proxies don't change your download speed, your internet connection does...To PLAY GMS you might need a proxy, but it won't help your download I don't think. If anything, it would slow it down because you have to route through another IP, right?

hmmm why would u need to proxy to play it? I said i was from USA in creating account and i can still play with no problems but dunno if will get banned or not

I'm in shanghai. And yeah, the INTERNET is fast, faster than the one at my house, but when download, it slows down like FUCK.

That's what I did a few years back when I was in Hong Kong & I had nothing to do in the middle of the night, but then I had Maple Story on my laptop at the time.

I wrote a long ass post about proxies and why your internet connection isn't going to make you download Maple Story any faster, but I have no clue how it didn't get posted here. I wrote it up and clicked everything. No way I'm going to type out that entire thing again.

Just deal with your internet connection. There isn't anything that can help you download any faster, unless torrents aren't censored (which I doubt). Just have the game download while you sleep.

But what i DON"T get is that why my internet SLOWS DOWN during the middle of a download when it goes from 200 kbs to 20 kbs :|

Th'fux, if you think that's slow, you should try downloading here, in NZ.
We can't even seem to exceed 100kBps for local downloads.
International downloads? ..pfft

No ADSL2, still living with copper wires.

Just leave it running over night or something?
Or try to find another source.
