Anyways, I've been using WMM To make a second AMV. (Yes, I know, WMM Sucks, /facepalm, I won't use it again. Next time, I'll just use my full version of Sony Vegas. It's confusing as hell though)

Anyways, the AMV is done. I don't have a problem with uploading the video on youtube or anything. No codec errors. Here's the problem. When I play the AMV in WMM. (Watching the little preview screen) the AMV plays correctly. The AMV's length is 5 minutes and 21 seconds. I uploaded it to youtube, and the song was on until about 3 minutes. So, the song is 2 minutes longer on WMM, wtf?



The SONG was on for 3 minutes, the video was on for 5 minutes and 21 seconds.

Weird or what? I just again published my movie. Song stayed on for 3 minutes and 55 seconds (Video stays on full length). What's weird is, the song ends... in a normal way. Like it was the real ending of the song. It didn't just cut off. Hmm..

Can you check that specific song (not imported into a movie) in winamp or something and see how long it is? (possibly 3min55sec?)

The song is Move Along. It's duration is Three Minutes and 55 seconds. (I checked and double checked)

Imported on to WMM from Lime wire. The weird thing is once I import it to WMM the song duration lasts Five Minutes?!


I really don't want to re do my AMV, I spent a lot of time on it. When I publish it to my folder the song is Three Minutes and 55 seconds again... lame...

Any way to solve this? I would really like the song to be 5 minutes in duration, but, once I publish it, it changes... this AMV is really awesome shit. (IMO) I don't want to change it...

If I remember that bullshit WMM program, it will show that it is "stretching" the song to match the video but it will not.

You cannot turn a 3:55 song into 5 mins.

What you need to do, is pick your song.

3min55sec

Then

Edit your AMV to be 3min55sec.

(match the video to the song, not the other way around)

EDIT:
Or find another song thats length is greater than or equal to your AMV.

You could always take the easy, but less pr0 way out....

And load the song into the amv twice.

so the song will play in full 3:55secs, then start again from 3:56 to the end of the vid.

This of course will ruin the 'flow' of the amv though.

I did a few years ago.... but the prob isnt with the program....

The problem is that a 3 minute song is NOT 5 minutes long.

Never mind, I re did my AMV, it's a rush POS, now, thanks to WMM.

Anyways, I'm going to learn how to use sony Vegas now, bye...
