Avater is not anime its like a american cartoon. Anime is for something that made by japan.

Anime is just the word for Japanese cartoons, I would say that it extends into things made in the West that share the same style. We consider Korean cartoons shows to be anime, therefore, Avatar should also be considered as such. Avatar had all sorts of crazy stuff that would fit right into an anime, I see no reason to exclude it. Something in the western style would be like.. JLA or Batman.

one of my favorites... AVATAR: the legends of Aang the last airbender. awwww, i miss watching it... i havent seen the last book... i guess i have to find a copy.

I've seen all the episodes of Avatar.. its great to watch, theres enough humor.

yeah i second the motion that anime is something made from japan. but i think avatar is some sort of an anime because of the illustration style though it is made by the americans. peace man!

it was nick, korean anime actually... though i think i saw an add for it in hong kong before it was released in US... though it may have started off in america... who knows... show sucks cause it gets boring and shitty

for real man? it's a korean anime? anyway let's just look it up if it is really true. anyway, on which part did you get bored? i guess we can't take away the fact that most of the shows that we know has some parts where it gets really really boring to watch.
