I may be off base here...but I think it would be nice to have a "Flame Wars" section for the forum. A place where the purpose is to post on "hot" issues for debating and flaming different perspectives (i.e. religion, politics, current events, etc). This may help alleviate a lot of going off topic and flaming habits of the posts in the General section.

Maybe not, but I'm sure that there are others like me that find fun in debating and flaming others while not getting butt-hurt when on the receiving end.

Sweet, don't recall much from back then lol. Either way, they're good fun. The ones at Killingifrit (FFXI site) used to be awesome as well.

To add on to what was posted above. The way the community currently is the forum would become nothing but literally flaming. I would expect nothing but shit slinging back and forth. The current community does not have the maturity it takes to handle a flamewar section, at least not at the moment.
