hey guys
ok so i have played many many mmorpgs. but im never satisfied with just cool classes or awesome visuals. what im looking for now a day is somthing that actually requires skill and not just endless hours on the computer lvling up your character. im sick of just playing games with no real perpose and only requires you to click a moster once, and no skill required after that. i want a game where you can go on for short periods of time and just fight other players or monsters. im also kinda in the mood for a 2d type of game with cartoonie type of animation. for anyone who has played the online game "chaos fraction" this is what im looking for. something really simple and easy to catch on to. but yes i do want an rpg where you lvl up your character. but where lvling up your character doesnt determin if your going to win or not. sorry if im being confusing or complex. ok so heres what i want in list form. 1. a SKILL BASED mmorpg, but your lvl doesnt determin how good you are. 2. a pvp style game, perhaps 2d 3. i wouldnt mind some monster battles eithur, or some boss battles 4. different classes, or character customization. maybe im living in my own little dream world but if you have got any sudjestions just post them plz. cya |

It is not f2p, it is buy to play.... Guild Wars.
-Max Lvl 20 -You do not have to PvE ever if you don't want. You can create an instant lvl 20 PvP only character. -is NOT gear dependent -Player skill in PvP is more important than anything. Selecting proper skills for your skill bar, and then having the skill to use them properly will determine if you win or not. Aside from that, most games tend to be gear based, or require a huge amount of grind to level. That's about all I can think of when it actually comes down to having skill in an game without the need for grinding. |

http://t4c.4genet.com/ has really intense pvp. There's lots of skill required! You'll be sure to have a blast after a few levels

Try Runescape... XD
J/K, I do believe you have tried that already. GunZ: The Duel, http://gunz.ijji.com<< Questing, skill based(lvl 1 could own lvl 90's), and a somewhat friendly community. ijji GunZ: The Duel has mainly over 1k everyday! During day time, I'd say maybe 12:00am-6:30pm Eastern Time is has over 2,1/2k players. (Each server hold 2k players and there's like 7 Quest Servers, and 4(maybe 3) extra servers(clan, etc.)! Give it a try, you might like it!

Meh, guild wars is a little gear dependent IMO and while you can jump straight in to pvp at max level. You get like 6 crappy skills...so good luck. Also, don't forget about the cash shop in guild wars, while it only has the option to buy all items/skills, that stills gives a (slight) advantage to people who spend extra money. (Work your way to unlocking every skill for your class or...spend like, what is it? $5 for every skill in the game unlocked instantly). Idk, its just, yea, guild wars has the most balanced, fair, skill based pvp, you still cannot make pvp purely skill based unless everybody gets everything unlocked on pvp chars (but not pve chars) are soon as your start. The only people that complain about this are the people who either worked for their skills (which I can agree with to a degree) or the people who like killing noobs who have crappy skills. (
