RE : Thalamast
Hi Thalamast,
I was referred to your post by Akira, as the lead of Blood on Binary I can tell you that we have been 'doing something' for more than a year. The problems came from an ever changing market and production of content. We have as a consequence had to plan for a few years further ahead and took the best route at the time. We have spent the time constructing the Game Design Documents for Escalation and Sacred as well as recruiting key member roles as seen from the Staff list.
On top of this our application to form into a Registered company is also in progress. Since we initially started here as just a team developing Escalation the transistion to company setup of Blood on Binary has been a long and hard one and that is the reason for this lapse in progress publically seen from our previous releases of clients. Blood on Binary is now fully self sufficient and currently turning a profit by expanding into web design this in turn provides cash flow for me to pay for our test servers, web hosts, programs and other tools needed.
We have had a successful test of features with Torque and have that version archived but in order to reach the massess sooner and to draw more attention we have switched to RC Pro which as you may know has DX9 support and thus we can begin to roll clients out paired with our team ethics that have been built upon for the past 3 years of being together.
The latest team member drive is to increase productivity by giving each team member less to do and thus less stress on their actual life.
