'' Massively online'' ?!?!?! wow congrat, how could something be massively online !? ?! !? If it haves a few hundread players and a persistant world it can be called an MMO, doesn't need a party system to be multiplayer, multiplayer doesn't mean co-op / party based ... actually I am starting to doubt the persistant world part, in fact that FPS would be massive and it would be multiplayer and it would be online, so it would be a MMOFPS even if it aint in a persistant world ... Mhh.....

Mr. Just curious here , but with that logic you do not consider a racing game multiplayer ? Theres no party system there. Your not helping your openent. In runescape theres pvp witch is the same thing. Your playing AGAINST other players , just like you would in a racing game. So if thus racing game is multiplayer you would have to classify rune scape as a multiplayer itself.

So it would definatly be a MMORPG IMO.

Of course runescape is a MMORPG. You interact with others even if it may not be during pve combat. Can't forget the economy either; players buy/sell from other players.
