Default Anime Music? What do you listen to?
Pleasure to meet everyone in this part of the forum. Getting back into Anime and things. Anyhow, I hardly listen to any music what so ever. So, was wondering what some good Anime Music to download/play.

On another note. What do you listen to? An Anime Album? What song? Etc.

Just trying to get this place active. =D

Depends what you like honestly. Most Japanese music is no different than music that we have, it's just in a different language.

Anyway the most enjoyable albums for me were the contemporary, to the jazz, and to the techno.

Ergo Proxy has a good sound track, so does Cowboy Bebop and last, but certainly not least, The Big-O sound track which is orchestra mixed in with jazz.

I can be picky about my plethora of Western music, but Asian music always had a much softer landing onto my playlist, mainly because I'm spared from understanding the God fucking awfully cheesy lyrics due to language barrier. Anything works as long as its easy on the ears.

Last Exile has a good opening (Cloud Age Symphony: http://youtube.com/watch?v=y4gMfFOnzd4 ), and while ZoE isn't an anime, it has a badass song.

BECK OST, great soundtrack.
My favourite BECK song - By Her (Dubbed)
I prefer the english versions, due to the jap versions usually being part engrish part jap.

Samurai Champloos OP is good, Shing-02 does the vocals. (Very good japanese-american hip-hop artist)
