I need help deciding which class i should pick

...? What do you generally like to do? Support? Deal damage? Tank?

it depends on your preference,

do you like range? theres archers
tanking and damage? fighters
pure damage? mages
or support? clerics

they all have their pros and cons so generally the choice is yours,

maybe make one of each and train them till about lvl 10 or lvl 15, which ever you prefere continue with.

That's a good idea. And when the time comes, you already have an alt

Personally, I've played a cleric and an archer and really enjoyed both. I like healing, so I liked my cleric the most. You kill stuff very slowly, but because you can heal you obviously never have to worry about dying.

Really, if he wants to go range mage is the better choice, seeing as archers seem to completly loose power after level 40.

I myself am getting each char to level 20 then choosing, its not hard to level i have 2 out of 4 in like a week.

Eh, i would be farther along if my internet would cooperate, its been out since friday. FRIDAY. i have been going insane. Anyways it isn't terribly hard, kingdom quests and such.
I should start another soon, and not impressed with archers, love em but my mage friend deals like 2 to 3 times more damae then me. D:

My mage and cleric are 14 and 11 respectivly as well...

apparently compared to maplestory this should be as easy as walking to the market, and buying some milk.

I'm one to grind and stuff... so its not diffucult i like aoeing too.

Yeah, archers need help. They're probably the weakest class IMO.

I can understand the desire to keep them from just being mages with bows, but they definitely need more interesting/useful support and crowd control abilities to make them stand out.
