I'm pretty sure they don't ban for AFK skill spamming, most I've ever seen done was all the afkers the GMs could find warped into one spot and then killed. Seriously, if you go to Darkon on any server and go on the bridge leading out, you'll see abut 5-10 people on average AFKing their skills, and I have yet to see anything happen to them.

In any case, if you are going to AFK, go to a spot thats somewhat hidden, but close to mobs where you can get PxP from.

They can't really ban AFK skillers, since that's just an extremely stupid rule. Nobody gets hurt, and people with 2 boxes running Flyff get FAR more advantages than anyone will ever get from AFK skilling.

If the game makers wanted to prevent AFKing, they could have easily done so by adding some minor requirements for skills to cast --- releasing the key when mana runs out, require some minor movement after 100 casts or something similar. Something that requires people to upgrade from a simple "heavy object on your keyboard" to something more elaborate --- either a mechanical device or software. They can't competely prevent AFKing, since a decent bot can always kill monsters or perform whatever requirement the game makers put in. But a bot is something they can disallow=ban without upsetting players.

Of course, they could also rebalance the skills, so AFKing is no longer necessary since skills level normally.

Last time I checked (4 months ago)
They only force disconnect people they find afk spamming... but due to the increase in population of people who do that I don't think they even care anymore - but I won't garentee that. I've been forced disconnected many times so yeah. Heh. Most of my skills are level 20 and I can't imagine sitting there leveling each one. From levle 19 - 20 alone.. it takes 28 hours.. of manual hitting your hotkey...

But, you do need the PxP? So after some time you'll run out of PxP? I'm a Merc, so it isn't really needed to AFK my skills I think, maybe Protection and Panbarrier.

It is true you need PxP. But lvling our buffing skills, it takes awhile to drain all the PxP. Usually we go Lvl our skills near mobs around a safe place.

Once you are higher level - your skills require less and less Pxp to train.
Meaning if it requires 20/100 pxp per use, at level 20.
It will be reduced as ur level progresses...
at 8x, my skills only require 0.03pxp per 1 use.
