Default why we have to do that?

It is so sick to choose a career at the very beginning of the game. I spent a lot of time on leveling up. However, when I am level 30, I find that this career is not funny at all.
If I change a career, I have to train from the very beginning. It is so sick. When I play Angels Online, I choose to be a mage. I have trained for a long time and all my skills are level 30 as well. However, I would like to learn other skills. I have to delete one of them and level up from 0.
Oh my god, how can I? Is there any game offers us a chance to change skills whenever and however we would like. And the most important thing is that the level can be kept?
As you know, when you are born, you don’t choose what career you have in your mother’s arms. You take different elements from your life and interests and doing lots of research, formulate the best career for you. Even there you can change your mind and choose another.
So, why the game developers don’t make such a game for us? Why we have to choose a career at the very beginning of the game?

Theres plenty of games where you can start out as a beginner and choose a class later on. Ex. MapleStory, L2, etc.
Some people like the aspect of getting your class right away and getting your skills right away, some dont.
As for the thing you're looking for, try a Rose or MapleStory Cough server, alot of the 50000000x servers have reborn where you can keep your skills and what not.

*Shrugs*

It's like life. You go to college for some time and major in let say economy. Then you realize you dont' like what you are doing, and you go back to school and finish your computer science degree. Then again, you realize you like art better, so you go back to school and finish your art degree.... Just that process takes about.. 10 years give or take? Chances are, a lot of people are doing this nowadays.... It's not like you can start over your life either, or reuse the spent time again, right? =p

If you somehow just cannot visualize or foresee what you will enjoy doing in life, you have to waste a lot of time. It may worth the time for someone, or it may not.

Anyway Back on topic:
So basically... the only thing that helps is to do research on the game forum and see how other people view about certain classes you are interested in. Research videos on youtube or something. Look at skill sets on the website if skills interest you. Yeah, it seems fairly stupid you have to "research" a game to have fun, but seriously it's worth the effort because you either waste more time now or waste more time later, just like life o_0.

And honestly.... beginner classes are utterly useless in assisting someone choosing the right class imho. Beginner class usually plays nothing like the future classes you will pick anyway, so... you will end up with the same process again.

Rappelz has a beginner class as well, fyi. But you still have to pick a race before hand.

In addition... I have yet to see a game that lets you reset your skill/class/stats unlimitedly, nor a game that lets you relearn your skills/abilities. Not really sure why developers have to do that; the best guess is that it keeps the game playability (I know it's not a word, lol) better, so players will have a better chance keep playing the same game perhaps in other classes, you know. The more time you grind on a game, the better that game is doing, so of course dev wants you to grind as much as you can until you are hell bored, lol.

What's the point of grinding yourself to a class? when you can be that class from the beginning. saves time.

Final Fantasy XI, you can change your class at any time, and can change back at any time, and you'll keep your level.

In Domo you can level as much classes as you want, and use the skills of two classes.

I would recommend DoMo,
the feature that you can become every job with one character is one of the thinks i liked best

well you fall back to your level 10 novice when you change to a new job you did not level already but still you can combine the jobs later on which is totaly awesome and rare, or is it even unique ?

I would recommend Mabinogi... Considering most, if not all, here consider it a tad expencive for a F2P game.
