They are already working on alternatives ...
We already have cars that run on electricity and soon they will make a car that runs 100% on electricity so nothing to worry about...

The funny thing is that go back a few years and we already did that. I suggest you rent the movie "Who Killed the Electric car" the Electric car worked TOO good.

We have to wait for that Water power/hydrogen power car they have working on, thats the future.

I dont think we need to worry about gas getting "too high" seeing as once people stop being able to afford it,the price will drop. That's how economics work Rise<-->Decline and they balance each other out. Just wait for it.

My contribution to saving each and everyone of you money every time you visit the gas pump:

Thats right. I'm 18 years old, and still ride a bike. I like the exercise, I like the feeling of riding a bike. I like to take in the world around me at MY pace, which is bicycle paced. Sadly, I live pretty far from ANYTHING (I could have most of my basic needs met in my home town, except a grocery store however) so a car is a must sometimes. When I do have to drive, I just hitch a ride with a buddy who is headed my way. My schooling starts in the Fall, and I thought I was going to have to drive to that (needed a car, gas, etc) but what luck? My best friend has class the same days as me.

I roll 2 miles an hour, so everybody sees me. 29 inch wheels so...eh. Nevermind. I can't freestyle rap. Lols. I've got this though...

(I don't suppose anyone here knows much about bikes, but us single speed guys are a dying, odd, rare breed.)

P.S. What are your parents doing to warrent 60-80k salaries without a highschool diploma?

Not to mention, your mother has the same job but a highschool diploma and averages 20k less?

Because my parents jobs depend on how much their willing to work.

My dad owns a company and he hires a bunch of other brazilian immagrants to clean houses and crap which is about 150$ a house in the rich areas around here. And to clean a house only takes about 2-3 hours depending on size.

My mom who has the same job used to work with my dad and had the same salary but they divorced and she's all lazy and depressed now so she makes 20k less cause she decided to give up some houses.

It's a pussy job but it pays.

Almost the same here. Both of my parents only have a high school diploma. Mom runs a carpet/house/commercial cleaning business, Pops owns a construction company. Dad brings in about 130k a year (IIRC). Not sure about mom.

Some things that paying tuition won't give you are business savvy and determination. People like our parents would probably be successful with or without a degree.

As gas prices rise, so does the costs of operating their businesses. So in turn, my parents pass their increase in costs onto the consumers.
