guildwarsguru is one of the many GW fan sites, and is among the widely visited ones. You can also take a look at the unofficial
Guildwiki, as well as the incgamers sub-site
Guild Wars Online.
Both Guru and GWO have sections devoted to player match-ups, hopefully you'll come across someone with goals similar to yours.
My pet project this month of March is getting my characters through the Factions campaign. You can PM me if you see me online (IGN Boi Choi) and maybe we can blitz through some of Cantha's missions
