So, I want to buy a new computer.

I was gonna ask my mom to get me a new computer, so I can play games on it...sadly, I can only play games like Maplestory, Graal, Runescape, etc...

I wanna play those games everybody is playing, like RO2, WoW, etc.

I was searching the Circuit City website and found this:

This computer looks solid, hopefully, if my mom will glady save up the money, I could buy this. Is this good? It's WAAAY better compared to my current computer: http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Compa...oductDetail.do

Will the Pavillion run games like Perfect World with no lag? I really want a new computer, I can't take being bored like this!

Your PC at the moment is good enough to play perfect world or wow. You may have problems with your internet connection seeing as you said lag not high fps.

None, build it yourself, 1000 can get you a really nice setup

Well, it does play perfect world and most modern MMORPGs, but neither computer is a good deal.

Building your own computer would be the best option, or getting someone to do it for you, but if you really can't, then Dell has some really good deals if you have the proper coupons.

With 550, I made a computer with a sexy case,E8400,8800GT,PSU,P5Q MOBO,2GB RAM and only kept my Hard drive and DVD unit. If I added a new HD, i'd waste like 50€ more.

If I didn't give my mom the remaining money of my 750€ budget, i'd get a 9800GTX black edition and possibly a even better processor.

So if he doesn't want a new screen,I don't think he needs as much as 1000.

lol with 1000 bucks i can build a perfect pc...mine now cost me about 600 bucks and can play every game maxed out perfectly

I builded one around 460+USD and been playing crysis on high settings...which i myself couldnt believe it too..

even if you did not know how to build one get the parts and get them to fix for you and would still cost lesser.

True it's so much cheaper to build your own and it's not as difficult as people think. The major PC companies like dell etc. are trying to make it sound difficult so people think "oh i need a degree in computer technology blahblahblah to make my own computer" not true making a computer is as simple as taking a bunch of lego blocks making sure that they will work together well and sticking them together.
