NEW CAPCOM MONSTER HUNTER FRONTIER SIGN-UP TO ENGLISH USERS

Firstly, I want to say thanks to SQEX for his registration guide. With that one (and the babelfish translation) I was able to sign in. So let’s get started. Don’t thank me whatsoever for this because I’m a noob and I really suck at this. Besides, if it weren’t for SQEX’s Guide, I wouldn’t’ be able to make this guide at all. So you will need this http://www.onrpg.com/boards/77456.html

1. Go to http://www.mh-frontier.jp/
2. Then click on the place were the arrow I pointed:

3. This will open another page: (the link is http://www.mh-frontier.jp/start/index.html)

4. This will open a new window in daletto. You will then go to the page of registration of daletto with the monster hunter frontier services (the link is http://www.daletto.com/pc/entry?service=mhf&link=mhf)
5. First is you ID. You can write it without being Japanese. Perhaps it’s not a good idea because of your playing a game only for Japanese guys so be careful when you are choosing this

6. Then your password. This one can be normal characters. Re-input it and then choose a nickname. You will login in Monster Hunter with the ID and the Password so this won’t matter much.
7. Next: your name in Japanese. Go to Wikipedia English. Search for Katakana end Hiragana. Then write a name (who cares? – I just putt up 2 A in Japanese). Go to the table of Japanese characters in the Wikipedia and then choose your name. Example: アア (a a – Katakana)
ああ (a a – Hiragana)

8. Then type your e-mail address. Just write it down here:

You can only use that e-mail for one account
9. Next for the tricky part: The postal code. Before you didn’t needed to type a postal-code. I searched the web and I use this one: 3291113 (you can use it if you want). If you don’t, use this site to search it: http://homepage1.nifty.com/tabotabo/...p_post_zip.htm
Now type in your birth date (don’t know if you need to be 18 plus). I said I was born in 1989 and I’m only 15 xD. The in-put your sex (don’t’ really know if this will make your character can’t be female. The first option is male, the second one is female. Choose at your will xD.

11. After that there is something that says if you want to receive mail from daletto. Just let it stay like it is. Then just write the number on the image.
Then you need to scroll down the list of rules and agreements. Then type with a V in the box and press the green button. This is what it is supposed to be:

13. If everything is right, this is what it should appear:

If it appears something red above the questionary, it’s because you’ve made a mistake: the ID or Nickname is used, the Password is wrong or maybe the Code of numbers. If you don’t know, grab that part and copy it to http://babelfish.yahoo.com/ and choose the Japanese to English translation. If any question just e-mail me tyranohelix@hotmail.com. If you passed the part and you are in the stuff checking there should be two green buttons. Choose the right one to register and the left one to go back and change something you know it’s wrong.
14. It’s done. Go to your e-mail and use the link to activate the account. Don’t close this yet. You are then going to activate the Monster Hunter Frontier Trial or Paid. I’ll just show how to go to the Trial one. Go were the link takes you to.
15. It will appear a monster hunter image so press it, and you will start your activation of Monster Hunter Frontier account.
16. Then you will find the first button that as 2 cats and if you see the link (in the low left corner of internet explorer) it should see bla…bla FREE. This free is to make the trial version, that as a lot of limited stuff. Now just chck in the box and press the button down to accept. BAM!!! New account!!! If anyone does get this (because I’m Portuguese and my English sucks). Just mail me to tyranohelix@hotmail.com and I’ll do you an account. Thanks! But I'd like to know if there are any mission restrictions when not subscribing. I'd at least want to be able to fight the Yian Kut-ku.

wow havent looked at mhf in a while heh i remeber when me and SQEX were trying to figure out how to get the game to run then i guess i got lucky and got it to work then the AMAZING GUIDE was made lol

About what Tetsmega said, I think you can only go hr 2 missions (in trial but I'm not sure). I think Yan Kut-Kut will be "killable" (as I said I don't really know). At least, In Monster Hunter Portable 2G You can fight them in the Gathering Hall.

I have followed all of the directions exactly, and am running VPN on Windows XP, game starts, but when I goto login I get this error:

Ugh help I've spent 2 whole days on this.
