There's a human error with my computer, and it's my brother. He's always downloading demos for games, free games, and those stupid games that suck. And I was wondering is there anyway to make it so he has to enter a password to download something, or to axcess certain programs?

you (being the administator) can make him a "special" account to go on and you can change virtually everything... you can make it so he can't download programs, install programs, go to certain websites, access certain programs, and so on. so, you just change the password of the administrator file to something your brother does not know and make him a "special" file.

i am asuming you use windows XP because i am unfamiliar with vista.

if you want to do this i can try to help you but only if you use windows XP.

The same goes for Vista, its only like 1000x easier to customize accounts. About the only plus side of Vista really, other than the aesthetic niceness.

make him use the guest account, or give him quality shit to play

for the demos... buy a magazine like PC Gamer or so, demos there are virusfree (if not send back with a complaint lol) and you get a lots of freeware apps, games and wallpaper and stuff

depending where you live you get even full free games lol
