I know we weren't trespassing.. It was a parking lot with stairs and we used. We didn't damage anything. We didn't touch anything besides the pavement.

BOSTON -- A federal jury has awarded a Billerica woman and her teenage son more than $30,000 in damages after the jury decided that two Billerica police officers inflicted intentional emotion distress against Michelle Kennedy and her 19-year-old son.
After a five-day trial and more than eight hours of deliberations, the jury on Tuesday awarded Michelle Kennedy $30,000 in punitive damages and an additional $2,000 in damages because the officers verbally assaulted Kennedy by swearing at her during a March 31, 2002, incident over skateboarding ramps.
Parker testified "I lost my cool" and swore at Kennedy after she repeatedly cursed at him. He admitted his behavior was against the department's rules and regulations.
The jury found Parker's conduct was "egregiously unacceptable, outrageous and conscience shocking."
But the jury found Parker did not violate Kennedy's constitutional rights by using excessive force and did not unreasonably detain her.
Brian Kennedy Jr., 19, was awarded $2,500


A cop swore at her and her son because her son was skating and she got $32,000. Yea deselin. I'm sure I'd lose this case.

Anyway just close this thread. I'm not gonna sue him.

Give me the details of that case and I could probably tell you why. Hell, I could probably tell you why right now. The mother probably told the judge that her 'sweet little baby' had never been subjected to swears before, and it defiled his mind or some shit like that.

Yours is different in the fact that both of you did something against the law. At the least, you'd lose the money you spent on court fees and such. At most, probably some community service.

It doesn't matter if both of you lose, you still didn't win and you come out with nothing in the end either way.

@TheSinter: The guy can always argue otherwise in court, and hell, even get the janitor to testify for him. (under paid circumstances, of course)

But I'm not gonna listen to you because you don't know that I wasn't trespassing. I'll go there tommorrow and talk to the janitor and see if it's in the school's policy. If it's not I'll come back here and rub it in your face.

And I'm gonna go back because the man doesn't own it. If we're allowed to skate there and police don't say anything than we're gonna skate. If every kid in that city skates that school and nothing has been done about it than I'm pretty sure we're allowed to skate there.

The dude gave me a scar. I should be pissed at him because this thing hurts. I don't care that he burned me though I could use that money to buy stuff that I want.

yea it is becouse by law it can be brought back on the school if you are hurt on there property.
