There are 4 ways you can PvP (Player versus Player) in Cabal

1. PK (Player kill)
Player Kill is a type of PvP that does not require a targeted character's consent.
Player Kill has certain penalties; the more you Player Kill, the higher the severity of the penalties.
To start a PK click a target character, and use the Shift key and a skill button to initiate attacks. You will receive a message informing that a PK has started. If there is no interaction between the two characters for a set duration after a PK is started, the PK will be automatically ended.
You are allowed to use HP Potions while PKing. Use Fade Step (Sword Skill) or Tumbling (Social Action) to avoid being targeted.

The penalties for PKing:
a) If you attempt another PK while in PK Penalty status, you will lose 1,000 Honor Points.
b) If you kill a character while in PK Penalty status, you will lose 10,000 Honor Points on the top of the 1,000 points that you have lost by attempting a PK.
c) If you continue attempting PK while in PK Penalty status, the severity and duration of penalty will be increased.
1 PK : Cannot use shops for 10 minutes. There is no Honor Point penalty.(Penalty for PK attempt is in effect starting from 2 PK)
2 PK : Cannot converse with NPCs for 30 minutes. Therefore, it is impossible to use shops, storage, and instructions or proceed with quests.
3 PK : Cannot converse with NPCs for 60 minutes, and other characters can PK you without receiving any penalties.
4 PK : Cannot converse with NPCs for 100 minutes, and have a chance of dropping equipment upon death.
5 PK : Will be confined within a labyrinthine prison for 150 minutes.

2. PvP (duel)
The PvP duel system does not have penalties unlike the Player Kill system.
Dueling is only available when both characters are agreed upon. You can also bet your Alz and Honor Points on the fights.
To start a PvP duel click a targeted character that you wish to PvP, and click "Request PvP" from the drop down menu.
You can bet Alz and Honor Points on PvP, and the PvP initiator can set the amount. You can also start PvP without betting by pressing the Cancel button.
You can bet Alz and Honor Points separately or altogether. The maximum betting amount of Alz is 1 hundred million, and you can freely bet your Honor Points as long as your remaining points are more than 10,000 (1st Grade). That means if your Honor Points are less than 10,000 (1st Grade), you cannot bet your Honor Points
Upon your request for a PvP, the targeted character will receive a message asking for his agreement. If the character accepts the PvP request, he will be informed of the amount of Alz and Honor Points that are bet on the PvP.
If the targeted character does not respond within 1 minute or declines the request, the PvP will be automatically canceled. If you are invited for a PvP, you can also decline the request by pressing the cancel button on the Betting Information Window.
Once both characters have agreed upon a PvP, they will receive the starting message and will be given 3 minutes to finish the battle.
If the PvP did not end within the 3 minutes time limit, the game will automatically end in a draw.
You are not allowed to use HP potions during a PvP. Use Fade Step (Sword Skill) or Tumbling (Social Action) to avoid being targeted.
If you win in PvP, you will be informed of the PvP result and the winning prize.
If you lose in PvP, you will be informed of your death, and you will be revived at the closest warp gate from the PvP place

3. GvG (Guild versus Guild) Guild War
GvG is a type of battle that is held between guilds aside from PvP, PK and CvC.
To start guild war the Master of the guild can request another guild for a battle.
To Request a Guild Battle: Type the following command in the chat window.
/guildwar "the other guild's guildsmasters name" "number of deaths for a win " for example /guildwar Brewfus 10.
The other guild master will then recieve the invitation for battle. This informs him of the name of the challenging guild and also the number of deaths needed to win the battle. During this time, you will a recieve a message asking you to wait patiently for a response.
When the guild war starts, a time limit and a death gauge bar will be displayed. Also, the names of your opposing guildsmen will be shown in red which means that they are hostile to you.
Every time your guildsmen successfully defeat the other guildsmen, the death gauge bar will gradually be filled. If your guildsmen complete the required number of deaths to win the battle, the gauge bar will become full.
When you defeat the other guildsmen, you will receive a Player Kill message. The winning guild will be rewarded with Honor Points and the amount of Honor Points is affected by the number of participated members.
The Guild Battle's Honor Points calculation formula: (Winning number of death x 50) ÷ the numbers of participated guildsmen.
If you are defeated, you will receive the same message as if you are defeated by a monster. You will be revived at the nearest spawn point. Guild Battle does not have the death penalty.

4.CvC (Confederation versus Confederation) or Nation versus Nation and the War Channel
Once you attain level 95, you are allowed to join a nation of either Capella or Procyon by undergoing a nation quest. Once you join a nation, you are allowed to Player Kill characters of the opposing nation. When you succeed in Player Killing the other nation's characters, you will be rewarded in various ways like Honor Point rewards.
Nation Battle is available within every field map in channel 9 of all servers and in the normal channels. The "Lakeside" and the "Forgotten Ruins" maps are also available.
Where Nation Battle is available, enemy characters' names will be shown in red. You can attack them without using the Shift key.
You cannot interact with enemy characters in any other way, for example; chatting.
Where Nation Battle is available, enemy characters' names will be shown in red. You can attack them without using the Shift key.
You cannot interact with enemy characters in any other way, like chatting, as it is encrypted along with the players name and guild.
If you succeed in Player Killing enemy characters, you will be rewarded with a certain amount of Honor Points.
Honor Point Reward (Minimum 10 Points) = -100 + {(300 × defeated enemies) ÷ (numbers of your confederation members + numbers of the enemy confederation members)}
When neutral characters that have not joined a nation enter a war zones, their name will be unreadable and displayed in orange.
If you successfully Player Kill a neutral character, you will be rewarded with 1 Honor Point.
If you Player Kill a character in a war zone regardless of his pledged nation, and the level difference between you and the character exceeds the limit, you will be rewarded only with 1 Honor Point.
You will be rewarded with Honor Points for hunting monsters in war zones following the formula below.
(Minimum 1 point and Maximum 3 points) = -4 + {(12 × numbers of the enemy nation members) ÷ (numbers of your confederation members + numbers of the enemy nation members
