Hi,

Im the head of Blood on Binary and since I was cruising these forums as I do and saw your post I would like to inform you of Copyright and the legality issues which are not a problem in this case and have been fully researched already by the law firm my brother works for.

Sacred Chronicle is the name of the game and thus any shorthand of it is fine to use in advertising it and such since we are not infringing on the actual game that is Sacred it is our OWN game Sacred Chronicle which instantly is protected by IP which no longer needs to be applied for for its application to be of lawful substance since a good few years ago.

The name of a product or game can be Trademarked to the developers but since we are not commercially using the name Sacred to advertise the game which is actually Sacred Chronicle there is no issue. It is only when it came to selling etc of the game if we were to use the name Sacred would an issue arise and even then it could be battled that the word Sacred is too generic a word for it to be assigned to just one place when the products are of different content.
