Well, i bought NWN2
I ONLY played the demo for NWN,
its was meh
NWN2 has a cool single player story
but the damn system req are tooo much!
the only thing that messes my gameplay is my video card
nvidia geforce 7000 something... 68mb <---
you need 128mb of video memory ram or w/e to play the game with decent gfx T_T

Obsidian screwed up NWN2 by making it more single player oriented than NWN. That and they made the editor a PITA to use, made playing on a persistant word REALLY annoying, and all sorts of other things that all relate to making multiplayer more annoying...

i havent played online yet, i wanna focus more on the story first.

haha, well It'd be nice if it'd be moved! Maybe I'll start a new thread sense I decided I would stick with the first one. I'm gonna install it with all the expansions and cep then go searching for a server. Once I find a good one I'll make a new topic and see if any1 wants to play

okay let me sum up the mass differences
NWN 1: Mages/Sorcs Kill everything no if's, no buts, with in game gear mages always win (not this custom crap) Fuck mages dont need custom crap and still pwn must custom crap stuff, If you cast Magic, you tend to have a majority over things that don't (Bigbies, Time Stop are the unfair spells for mages) (Harm and Heal, Greater Restore are unfair for clerics)

NWN 2: Druids are slightly unbalanced.... but not by much (just getting alot of AC as a caster and decent melee damage but that's about all and need to have a lot of wis) and need to be level 30

For online... I would say NWN 2 is better... less unbalancing in the spell casting (like harm does 150 dmg now not bring them 1-4 hp to get hit by a Greater Ruin)

NWN 1: Easy mode if you roll any caster but bard, More custom content
NWN 2: More Classes, More Balance, More spells (some more touch spells), More Feats (all useful), More Epic Feats (Really useful), More Races, Better Single player by a long shot.... (expansion is very dark and depressing though and takes right after, so play the first NWN)

I found NWN 2 was good... and some of our favorite chars come back, Deekin, Ect, Ect... Better NPC and Dialogue
Though NWN 2 expansion pack story kinda felt like... if you look at it like Planescape, accept of the wackiness, and more of the... well being very depressing

I'll play NWN 1 or 2 with ya... or if your like me and have some super PC lets play 1 and 2 together! (then that's like saying 1 requires a lot of computer resources >.>)

Also this would be a good MMO (aka not the story but system), though RP servers cant be for care bears... >.<, I enjoy this over DDO...

Also Gold has both expansions and a extra Module
