Stick with nwn or buy nwn2?

I've read a lot of reviews of nwn2 on the web, and I'm stuck. I can't decide whether or not I should upgrade! Any helpful thoughts?

uhh why did my post get moved to here? It has online play? and is an rpg. Maybe not an mmorpg, but an online rpg... And it does have single player option to, but that is not even what I'm interested in

Why would you have to upgrade? You do realize you can still get the 2nd one without the 1st one....

NWN 2 does have a better single player campaign than the first one but in reality if you really got NWN 1 or NWN 2 for singleplayer, you'd be an idiot. It's for multiplayer, the singleplayer is just a time-waster nothing special about it.

But I wouldn't reccommend getting the 2nd one unless you can stand a horrible camera and have a relatively decent PC

i preferred the first one personally, used to have great fun on the multiplayer maps, the 2nd one is still fun though

i also had great fun playing multiplayer, but the single player campaigns arent as bad as some people say. I think the Hordes of the Underdark expansion for the first one is a great game with a better story.

Ya I actually did really enjoy the singleplayer campaign. I loved multiplayer much more though! We should get a bunch of us into a good server. Something like Layonara

well if you get nwn 2 id play with ya.....cant seem to find an overly populated server all of them just have a handfull of people but it gets borign to me since i want large groups

It isn't but a mmog. Half the stuff posted in there isn't technically a mmorpg. If I'm wanting to know what game is better to play online as an rpg where you level up your character and play with other players online and what ever, obviously it belongs there over here. Unless you weren't being sarcaster
