Raids in the private server are probably nerfed down to crap. Even if they aren't, there are plenty of bad people in mh/bt due to their supernerfed state.

Edit: Looks like you click your skills too. Keybind your spells. Clickers are terrible.
People on official WoW forums are 70% of the time retarded or trolls.

i'd suggest using SL/SL and getting alot of resilence

your felguard hits hard and you have the mana/health regen from improved drainsoul and soul siphon.

also you have Improved shadow bolt with is awesome for raiding as it boosts your direct damage shadow spells aswell as any shadow priests damage in the raid.

bane is a no brainer..faster shadow bolts = more dps

i also got shadowburn since its awesome for finishing off people

i soloed 2 pvp geared warriors vs me as this spec and im in kara/FSW gear.

its also not bad for farming but in all honesty affliction is the king of farming.

if you like the felguard but are more of the drain tanking type you could try this spec

but for general pvp and farming SL/SL is insane..you just can't raid with it effectively

ive found when i raid that its best to drop a soulwell everytime its up..and if near a boss save it for the fight...and it doesn't hurt to let everyone know when your SoulStone cooldown is nearly ready..waiting a minute or 2 can prevent having to corpse run.

On topic: Depends how u like to pvp with lock u wanna be affliction, demonology, destruction.

Affliction:
Best thing are dots with dots u almost kill enemy(unless a healer) so u start with UA, Corruption, Immolate, Siphon Life, CoA(u can change anyhow u want but make sure u start with UA(unstable affliction) why? bcuzz if healer try to dispell it they silenced+instant dmg so they will need to suffer dots but sometimes hard to put all dots on 1 target specially on melee u get in affliction tree free fear(howl of terror) which will last atleast 3sec before end. I'm affliction and I good at pvp and i'm good in raids aswell + u never run out of mana(well u do if u don't know how to drain mana from ur Imp)

Demonology:
Here u are like a hunter but with demon u got many buffs when ur demon is active and high lvl uses fel guard for good and quick dps+can be annoyed at casters since felguard won't allow to cast to fast ^^ bad thing about demonology is that if ur demon dies ur 90% u will die to(unless enemy below 30% depends gear)since when he dies ur buff fades and ur like a mage but in for raid not many ppl raid with demonology since boss 1shot pets+if u don't know how to control ur pet rly good ur toast bcuzz u will pull ^^

Destruction:
Well des is like a fire mage but with sb(shadowbolt) or incinerate(not sure if name is right since don't use this skill)u give massive dmg specially with ruin(100% crit increase) not many ppl use destruction for pvp since don't got survival(usually ppl go with succubus when destruction since she can charm and ur free to cast

btw there some builds like sl/sl 24/37/0 which is (well ppl say i don't agree) best and only way to stay alive in bg but believe me it's not fun since u need to know how to drain tank + ur dots are easily dispelled etc.

My best build for pve/pvp(same time) is 42/0/19(many ppl wonders why the hell affli+des thats bcuzz I dot than sb spam for ezy kill

In other way try to make ur own build(but don't got xx/xx/xx just 2 talent tree to combine and u will 100% rock

So this is how my experience is with lock fell free to comment it or even flame it but thats my point of view.

you can pvp as any spec..some are just harder then others.

Affliction is great for pvp,farming and raiding at the earlier gear levels..sadly later on destruction passes it in terms of gear scaling..which does really suck since to alot of poeple..dots are what everyone associates warlocks with.
the downside to affliction is your very very squishy compared to a demonology lock..and if played right a demo lock can put out the highest theoretical dps of any lock

i don't think demonology is anthing like a beast mastery hunter, they have similarities in they are based around buffing yourself and your pet.
Demonology locks have insane survivability and do well in pvp/pve

unlike a BM hunter a demo lock can resummon his/her demon in about 2 seconds using fel domination.

42/0/19 is good but suffers the same pvp issues as both pure destro and affliction suffer..low survivability which means unless played well melee will stomp you

as i previously said the best general spec for pvp/farming is SL/SL due to the insane synergy between the 2 talent trees.

i know u have to raid to get T6 but the matter of a fact is that i've been on many private servers and nearly all of them has had a mall in which you can buy nearly any and all gear your heart desires in fact the one i'm on now full S4/warglaives are a sign of someone whos just started and well i can beat em before their out of first cheap shot

Ua/Sb works best in a JAC comp for 5s. Eurocomp just doesn't work as well anymore with the number of cleave teams going around. You might want to look into 2346 or a modified version of the sort.

Exact reason as to why those servers blow. No time or effort put in to getting that type of gear and anyone can walk around in it. You want to enjoy WoW? Play it retail.
