It's a shonen, most shonen are pretty much the same series:

Anyway, don't let that bother you, you can generally judge the series on how well the stuff surrounding the basic Cpt. Spiky hair plot is done; this series seemed unremarkable, I was pretty bored- when my only real reaction to the episode is to wonder why the Protagonist has a Vulcan for a class mate, you know I'm pretty damn bored.

Isn't bad, is just that here in this forum, is a bunch of people without patience, so they watched like 8 episodes and decided it was bs, if you want to give a opinion on a serie at least finish it don't just go judging it by the very begining episodes

This isn't an MMORPG where everything needs to be tested. There are only 3 factors with an anime: story (with subsections such as character development, etc.), animation and sound and they are all displayed in every episode. An opinion is an opinion is an opinion is an opinion. I decided I was wasting my time on a pile of crap anime, so I quit it.

Simple as that.

@ShadowOp, I have no experience with the manga. Can't really comment on that, though in most cases the manga is lightyears better than the anime.

8 episodes is pretty long..thats pretty much the introduction to the whole anime, you know whats going on, you think its bullshit.

You judge things on first impression, not how its like when viewing through the entire series.
