It could get worse but I hope for your sake it doesn't.

Don't worry, your parents aren't the only ones that like to sit through hurricanes. I've had to sit through a level 4 and 5 in my home some 3s and sone ones. My cousin had nearly been killed by two level 5s because he slept during one (projectiles EVERYWHERE) and tried to run home during one (Flooding, plus 30ft waves full of home appliances).

You'll be fine as long as your house is sound and it doesn't flood enough for water to get into the electric sockets. :O

lolz my mom bought all these snacks just in case the power would go out and its just raining so far, and people at the stores went and got all the bread
