Coupla thoughts:

1) When in the heck did Konoha start looking like a quaint European village? Where's all the architecture we know and love? For Bog's sake, Konoha looks like a town from a Hayao Miyazaki film in that trailer!

(granted, Miyazaki rocks, but Konoha should actually resemble Konoha)

2) The notion of foreign invaders raining death upon a town from their high-tech air machines seems very.. very much like some kind of clumsy anti-war film.

Oh, as for the progress of the series, I don't know or care where the anime is, the idea that they could get away with 90 straight episodes of mind-numbing filler makes me want to burn things; the manga has a ways to go;

(a friend mentioned to me that the series will ideally be 500 chapters.. makes sense to me, but I dunno if that's in any way true)

Basically, Sasuke wastes Itachi, realizes he got seriously Punk'd, sorta joins Akatsuki, and gets sent to fight the 8 tailed beast; Naruto goes to learn Sage stuff (Spell Cancel!!) with the Toad Sages; Sakura remains very nonexistant (cmon now, Shikamaru gets more screen time than she does).


Oh.. I've been wondering, Naruto trained with Jiraiya for 2 years.. did he actually learn anything? As of now, he has all of 2 moves. (Look, I hotkeyed Rasengan right next to Shadow Clone!)

He learned and perfected his Oodama Rasengan. He was also able to push the nine-tails resistance up to about 3 tails before he was taken over by it. Other than that, Jiraiya only made him go over the basics (if I remember correctly). He's significantly better, but even Kakashi can beat him (if it's just Naruto alone). Kakashi still has to take him seriously, though.

Seriously, though. Why the hell would the Wind Rasengan be so strong? Cut on the cellular level? Bullshit.

Yea, I loved naruto in the beginning, but now its the same thing over and over again...

Like First Naruto is messing around in his town...

Then, Lady Tsunade puts Naruto, Sakura, and some other guy on a team for a mission.

Then Naruto doesnt know wtf is going on, and he realises that he has to protect somone...

Its the same crap, and it gets to freakin emotional...

Yet, I still watch it....



But i cant wait for the new movie. It seems pretty good. Although were gunna have to wait. What? about a year to watch it in USA?
