Most detestable character - General

From any game you have played, or movie you have seen or book you have read, who is the most despicable character to you? And why? My pick personnally:

Yuna

No, not the FFX or FFX-2 one. I mean the Breath of Fire IV one. He's one of the bad guys, but not exactly a main one. Here's my reasons (With some spoilers of course):

1) He made the Hex Cannon. It uses people as ammunition, both their body and soul. It basically turns the targetted area into pure negativity and darkness, either killing people or at least driving them insane.
The cannon's power is based on two things: How much emotional link the sacrified person had to the target. For example, if you'd take a good mayor and shot him at his own town, the Hex Cannon blast would be stronger. Secondly (and worse), the power of the blast is also affected by how much suffering the people being sacrificied was in. So the shot people were put through as much suffering without dying as they could before being shot...

2) He managed to turn people into semi immortal "gods". Actually, they were turned into huge (shopping-mall huge) deformed monsters with no ability to even barely move. However, those transformed people were able to take ludicrous amount of suffering without dying for years... The huge size was so that more suffering could be inflicted at once. Of course, the person kept their mind so that they felt and lived through all that conciously. And the reason for all that? Yup, you guessed it: an eventual sacrifice for an Ultra-powerful Hex Cannon blast.

3) He managed to weasel his way out of danger, and he lived in the end of the game, planning to continue his work on those man-made "gods"... Yes, the cannon is destroyed by game's end, but there's nothing stopping him from making more once he manage to get the backing of another country for it.

So the most hateable character I've ever seen in a game actually manage to survive...

I still get shivers thinking about the whole thing even years after I completed that game. What's your own most hated character?

Andrew Ryan from Bioshock. Everything about that guy made me sick. But I will say that he is one of the best video game villians to come along in a very long time.
