Default Have any youtube video in high quality!
Just add "&fmt=18" to the end of the link (without the quotes) and it will make the video surprisingly higher quality o_o

Comparison:

Without : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMtbplem4Hs
With :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMtbplem4Hs&fmt=18

If you already know about this, Good for you but I just found out and thought I'd share :\

Its ups the quality a little bit, but it doesn't make it that great, but thats YouTube's fault.

When something has already been posted that's not really a valid excuse. Did you even attempt a search? They also have about 300 videos made for the purpose of showing the quality difference.

I remember this was posted when it was first found out, at least for the public. This guy was all panting in excitement.

It's part of their system that decides on what quality of a video to send you based upon your internet connection speed. Something they've been working on for quite a while.
You can, as said here, force a quality level with the URL, or get a firefox add-on that makes the higher-quality video forced
