To Stop Spams

I have realized that there are more and more spammers in the threads.

I say that members that have less than 50 posts should not be allowed to make topics. they are usually referrals or just spam.

As well as some members who I will not mention have a tendency of making topics just for spam. How about a possible suspension to some members that create topics, kinda like a warning that makes the person unable to make topics for a certain time.

Cuz some of the stuff they Post Isn't even game related and I thin you guys know what I am talking about.

If they are banned they can't post....
If they make a new account then they can't make new threads.

XD yah thread permissions like that are always a good idea, keeps spam topics from popping up and shit

Many times new people sign up to share the news that there is a new game launched or released. Doing this would not allow these to be issued and then people would only be able to find out about games from "ONRPGers".

I have never seen a new person post a new game here. Usually the devs of a new game get special privledges, sorta like the mod for Chaos Online.

I disagree.

What if a new member has a specific question about a game? It would severely hamper his ability to ask this question if he can't start a new topic.

Here's what I would think would happen in that scenario.

Most games have their own forums, thus the answer is most likely there. Now if the question is also common amongst other members, the answer could be answer by those.

I also think that there are also legit people that come here and help community and have legitimate questions, but I only see probably 1-2 of those new members a month whereas I see about 10-15 bots/spammers.

This probably an idea that could use some work, so fixing up some details could be better.
