That can easily be done. You join a guild, you automatically gain a level, or 5, or 10. Whatever will get players into the guild, and fast.

so instead of wasting 10 minutes organizing some kind of formal tournament,or declaring "the PvP week"...they rather had their developers work for weeks coding a totally new useless feature ,implementing it ingame while risking adding bugs...and then remove it after a few pointless days of closed beta phase and throw all that (most likely very hard) work to the trash bin?

Ugh, talk about a kick in the nuts. Without a doubt, one of the worst concepts I've ever heard.

I'm still gonna give it a try though, I didn't get into the cb (lesson learned, when people send betas to your alt email, check that thing.) and I thought Atlan looked pretty cool.

I could understand if they did this only for the beta, most games have the problem of people mega-leveling during the beta, there being no endgame content and then said people raising a stink about it. However, if this is a permanent thing, geez, expect Atlantica to retire to that graveyard of mmos, fit only for the infrequent OnRPG Flavor of the Week Hype, and for the uncommon players who like playing on an uncrowded (read: empty like hell) server.

It could have been a feature that they just didn't implement in the other version(s) of the game, but probably had the code somewhere. Maybe they think it'll work well for this one.

The community does not want it to happen, they're pretty much one voice screaming it out loud.

I hope the system dies post CB2, because if it doesn't and they force it onto us the game will fail hardcore

Mostly, what's weird is that they did NOT implement it on the Korean version nor there was any signs of it happening

That also means there's still hope they wont stick with it...we'll see.

Well they didn't put it in the Korean one cause that's already out and running.
They tried testing it out in a CB test. This then helps to see whether it will be a good thing or a bad thing. (Bad thing) If it's good then Korea will get it too.

How can you be sure they have no intention of removing the system?
and to use the term "people" in such notion is really careless

clever? yes i think its clever for them to implement such feature to force testers to test other game features. This is like a diversion.
So instead of just grinding and grinding testers will now centralize their attention on other things like pvp and such.

BUT if they still implement this on OB or when the game goes live
THEN its another story
thats when real uproars start
you can criticize them freely but as long its cbt its fine
