if its live, Im going to agree with you 100% but dude they will implement it on closed beta 2

so I have to disagree for now. I think its really kind of clever for them to implement such thing for the sake of testing (other game features)
The only bad thing is the manner how they told/inform the players about this.
It lacks explanation.. and the GMs vt-explanation came too late. The players are in uproar.

yup this can be encouraged in other methods..but really people think in different ways sometimes and that includes making methods. I think they dont like sticking with that typical one and want to explore something else for an alternative. But really the method they picked is very risky but still clever.
